Today, I want to take a break from the series and just share something that I was presented with recently.
When was the last time that you asked for wisdom? When was the last time you trusted the Lord with all your heart? These are just two of many questions to help open this post up to what God has set on my heart and shared with me during Church.
Wisdom is the way to walk in the way of God.
With that being said, if we want to walk with the Lord and walk in his way we must go out and actively seek His wisdom. We can do that by reading the Word and by asking God for wisdom. As we begin to gain wisdom, we also gain important and valuable knowledge about God. When we gain knowledge and wisdom from God I believe that it is best to share it with those around you whether it is with family, friends, accountability group, etc. I also believe it is necessary to encourage one another to strive to seek the wisdom of God so that we can know God, so we can know more about Him.
Wisdom is the journey you walk to the will of God. As we begin to pursue Gods will for our lives and ask for wisdom we begin to understand the will of God and the will for our life. As time goes on we can start to see Gods plan for our lives being written and how we need Him in our lives.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
Its plain and simple, we need to trust in the Lord and we need to pursue wisdom!
Something to ask yourself is do you want to know God’s will, or do God’s will, no matter what it is?
Submit your will to God’s will.
Three things to be thought about
- When you get God’s wisdom, you gain God’s blessing.
- To get wisdom you must go after wisdom.
- When you gain wisdom and guard wisdom God will guide you to his will.
